Utilitarian Uses for Medicinal Plants with Zach Fisher

Join us for this monthly community herbal healing circle. Learn about new plants or herbal healing subjects each month and gain a better understanding of how to incorporate their healing remedies into your life.

Besides being used for medicine and food, wild harvested plants can be used to make fire, fibers for rope, baskets, containers, dye, smoking blends, etc.  We will study some herbalists's favorite plants in a new light and work on a small basket or bark container.

Zach Fisher is a Primitive Skills instructor and practitioner living in the Hudson Valley. He has attended classes and workshops at the Tom Brown Jr Tracker School in New Jersey since 2010. He is a professional outdoor adventure guide and a co-founder of Earth Living Skills based in Brooklyn, NY.
