Join us for a Private + Personal immersion into the art of herbalism…
Twin Star Herbal Education Private Classes are meant for folks who would like a more personal 1:1 experience, folks who cannot attend our in-person regularly scheduled classes, or those who want to study a more specialized subject. We can create custom classes and workshops for one person or for small and large groups. From plant identification walks to herbal medicine-making to herbal gardening and wildcrafting, to herbal spa days for you and your closest friends, we will work closely with you to customized an unforgettable and empowering experience! We also offer custom tutoring for students who are on the Herbal Path and would like some 1:1 time with trained and experienced professional herbalists.
Founded in 2012, Twin Star Herbal Education has been offering both public and private classes on a plethora of topics including: Backyard Herbalism, Flower Essences Therapy, Plant Spirit Healing, Primitive Skills, Ancestral Healing, Nature Connection, The Green Witch, Goddess Studies, Women's Healing Circles, Astrology, Ayurveda and much more.
Twin Star now has two teaching locations—one in the beautiful rolling hills of Northwest Connecticut (just 60 miles outside of NYC) and the other in Asheville, NC nestled deeply in the incredible Appalachian Mountains. We feel honored to create and offer classes and educational experiences in both of these spectacular Northeast and Southeast regions. Regardless of the location, we strive to honor all people and every landscape and most especially the plants that came long before us. Our mission is to provide high quality, well-rounded, professional herbal education and opportunities. Twin Star blends science with Spirit to promote and support the health, healing and a re-membering for all who take part in our classes.
Meet Our Teachers:
Intimately connected with the plant world from an early age, Lupo Passero has studied botanical medicine for nearly 25 years. A mother twice-blessed, Lupo has a first-hand passion for helping the family enjoy healthy and holistic experiences with pregnancy, childbirth, children and teenagers. Her humble beginning with herbs and flower essences as a young mother in Asheville, NC during the 1990s inspired her to learn and go on to teach others. Shortly after moving back to her home state of Connecticut in 2012, Lupo launched Twin Star Herbal Education and Community Apothecary in New Milford, CT where our classroom still resides. She has since relocated back to the home of her heart and spilts her time between Ct and NC, where she continues to share her passion for the natural world. When she is not traveling and teaching she can be found in her medicine wheel garden or traipsing through the woodland, almost always with her camera in hand.
Rebekah Sutter first joined the Twin Star Tribe in the summer of 2015. Since then she has completed various herbal trainings including: Foundations of Herbalism, Practices and Protocols of Herbalism, Tropical Herbalism in Costa Rica, Flower Essence Practitioner Training and our Seed to Market Advanced Herbal Training. She has served as the Twin Star Herbal Apprentice and has helped Lupo co-teach a variety of classes including: the Art & Science of Herbalism, Spiral Path: Medicine Woman Herbal Apprenticeship, Foundations of Herbalism and Introduction to Herbalism courses. She also hosts and organizes the Plant Partner and Plant Wisdom Wednesday monthly offerings, as well as our 13 Moons: A Self-care Monthly Women's Healing Circle. Additionally, Bekah skillfully creates and crafts the majority of herbal preparations in our apothecary. Not only is she an up-and-coming Herbalist, she is also a talented artist with an emphasis on the divine feminine and botanical prints.
Again, we offer these personal classes in both the CT/NYC area as well as in Asheville, North Carolina. Please fill out the form below, be sure to include your location, what subjects you would like covered, and any additional details, and we will contact you shortly.
