In the Garden: Free summer plant Walk

  • Twin Star South: Art Garden AVL 191 Lyman Street, Suite 320 A Asheville, NC, 28801 United States (map)

Join us just before the Summer Solstice to gather in the garden and learn about a variety of medicinal plants, how to create botanical hydrosols, and start your own herbal grimoire!

Long-time ritual herbalist and Twin Star founder, Lupo Passero, will be teaching people the plants of summer through identification, ethical foraging and how to work with them. Botanical skin care creator and owner of Soil, Greta Aguirre, will be teaching people the water-medicine-magic of hydrosols and the ritual in distilling. Harper Leich is an artist who teaches art classes designed to connect people to their creativity through exploration, practice, and play. Harper will be leading people through a mini-workshop on the basics of starting an herbal grimoire, including a few botanical illustration exercises.

We will be meeting in the River Arts District in the Art Garden at 1 p.m. This is a FREE event and email registration is required to attend, please register below via “add to cart” button.
