What you will learn:
Explore the meaning of the suits and how they relate to the energy of the Earth.
Harness the wisdom of numerology to decode messages in the cards.
Interpret the cards through the lense of the Hero’s Journey.
Activate and build your intuitive skills to read the cards with grace.
Play and practice with the cards to build a relationship with the Tarot.
(1) Overview of the System
Learn the origins of the Tarot, how to choose and care for a deck, how to ask the right questions, and the basics of the 78 cards. Learn to listen to your higher self and trust your intuition. Begin a daily practice to build intuitive powers and connect with the Tarot.
(2) The Four Suits & Earth Energy
Connect with Tarot through the lense of nature magic. Explore the relationship between the suits of the Minor Arcana in Tarot and the elements of air, fire, water, and earth. Also, learn how to use the Tarot to help make decisions using two-card spreads.
(3) Numerology & Court Cards
Learn how you can interpret meaning using the numbers in the cards. Explore the meaning of the court cards through the lenses of the apprenticeship model and design thinking. Also, learn how to read three-card spreads to reflect on relationships, conflict, or personal development.
(4) Archetypes of the Major Arcana
Explore the Major Arcana, the 22 prime archetypes of the Tarot. Learn about the infamous Death Card, the spirited Fool Card, and the exciting Lovers Card. Also, discover a four-card spread for guidance and clarity around a situation.
(5) Practice & Play
Practice reading Tarot with others in a supportive and playful environment. Bring your own deck, or use one from the class. Receive encouragement and insight as you do readings for yourself or for others.
