PRIMITIVE SHELTER MAKING

 The #1 survival skill to learn. We will cover the history, materials, and construction of different types of structures used in the Northeast.  Participants will build at least one full size survival shelter out of sticks and leaves that can keep a person warm and dry in the harshest conditions.  

Zach Fisher is a Primitive Skills instructor and practitioner living in the Hudson Valley.  He has attended classes and workshops at the Tom Brown Jr Tracker School in New Jersey since 2010.  He is a professional outdoor adventure guide and a co-founder of Earth Living Skills based in Brooklyn, NY
