0213180826_Burst01.jpg

Using native and invasive plants like Willow, Red Osier Dogwood, Virginia Creeper, and Bittersweet, students will learn to make a durable and functional wicker-style basket.  We will also talk about different basket styles and functions as well as how to identify, harvest, and process plants for basketry. Each participant will go home with a finished basket.
