  • Twin Star 5 Booth House Lane New Milford, CT, 06776 United States (map)

This event is taking place in our herbal classroom (in person) in New Milford, CT presented by Rebekah Sutter

Join community herbalist Rebekah Sutter for this Winter Herbalism workshop and stock your home apothecary with remedies and knowledge on how to support the wellbeing of your family this upcoming cold season! This winter medicine themed class hopes to inspire folks to connect with the plants and their medicinal properties, and to empower participants to incorporate herbs into everyday life for mental health support, as well as herbal care for our bodies - inside and out!

This in person workshop offers an overview of herbal remedies and practices to stay well this winter. Each participant will craft their own winter remedies to take home including a jar of Fire Cider, Herbal Infused Immune Honey, and Elderberry + Botanicals Syrup.

Winter Support from the Hearth: We explore what common ingredients in your kitchen, cupboard, & home apothecary can be used for healing remedies to keep you and your family healthy all winter. Herbs we cover: ginger, sage, thyme, shiitake, maitake, garlic, astragalus, elderberry, echinacea and more! Recipes for teas, baths, tonics, soups and beyond included, as well as covering some aromatherapy and flower essences for the season. Recipes for teas, baths, tonics, soups and beyond included!
